BEIJING, April 15 -- The Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship Silk Road Ark (Hull 867), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, has been providing medical services in Papua New Guinea in recent days. The hospital ship's Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Physiotherapy Department has become one of the most popular departments among local residents, offering distinctive traditional therapies including acupuncture, cupping, tuina massage, and moxibustion.
During the Mission Harmony 2025, the Silk Road Ark visited more than 10 countries. In addition to providing high-quality medical services to the local people and overseas Chinese during the visit, the TCM Physiotherapy Department conducted academic exchanges with relevant countries, spreading TCM culture across the globe along the ship's voyage.
