BEIJING, July 4 -- At the invitation of the Vietnam Navy, a Chinese PLA Navy taskforce, composed of training ship Qijiguang (Hull 83) and amphibious dock landing ship Kunlunshan (Hull 998), is going to visit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in early July, 2026.

In recent years, the Chinese and Vietnamese navies have deepened cooperation in areas such as mutual ship visits and joint patrols, playing a positive role in enhancing mutual trust between the two countries and maintaining regional stability.
