WAU, South Sudan, July 16 -- The 16th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital and Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently passed the United Nations combat readiness assessment with high standards.
Through briefings, document reviews, on-site inspections, the assessment team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of more than 110 items of 10 aspects, including personnel organization, equipment support, and emergency response. The Chinese peacekeepers’ quick response and proficiency were highly commended by the assessment team.
