BEIJING, July 21 -- The Vietnam People's Navy's Frigate Tran Hung Dao (Hull 015) arrived in Guangzhou on July 20, starting a four-day goodwill visit. During the visit, the Chinese and Vietnamese navies will organize various activities, including ship tours, deck receptions, friendly sports matches, and professional technical exchanges.
This visit will further enhance the traditional friendship between the Chinese and Vietnamese navies, while deepening mutual understanding, trust, and practical cooperation and exchanges between the two militaries.
In recent years, the Tran Hung Dao has visited China multiple times and engaged in maritime cooperation and exchanges. In March this year, the frigate arrived in Fangchenggang City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to participate in the 10th China-Vietnam Border Defense Friendship Exchange and conducted a joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf with Chinese naval vessels.
