The two sides held in-depth exchange of views on the relations between the two countries and two militaries, the international and regional situation, as well as issues of mutual concern. They agreed that, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, efforts should be made to upgrade the quality of military cooperation between China and Thailand.

The Chinese side remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region and supports both Thailand and Cambodia in consolidating the ceasefire, rebuilding mutual trust, and peacefully resolving disputes, Dong said.

Prior to the talks, Adul hosted a welcoming ceremony for Admiral Dong Jun and accompanied him to inspect the guard of honor.
