China-Thailand "Falcon Strike-2026" joint air force training concludes

UDORN, Thailand, Aug. 21 -- The closing ceremony of the China-Thailand "Falcon Strike-2026" joint air force training was held on the morning of August 20 at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base.

The Chinese side deployed various types of equipment, including fighter jets, early warning aircraft, aerial refueling aircraft, helicopter, and surface-to-air missile system, and trained in mixed groups with the Royal Thai Air Force, successfully completing all scheduled tasks.

During the joint training, the two sides conducted exercises on subjects including joint air defense and humanitarian medical rescue, held discussions on issues such as air force personnel training and the use of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) forces.

It is learned that this marked the ninth iteration of the joint training series between the Chinese and Thai air forces. The "Falcon Strike" joint air training series has become an important platform for strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries and is of great significance for deepening mutual trust and friendship between the two sides and jointly safeguarding regional security and stability.
