BEIJING, Sept. 21 -- According to China's Ministry of National Defense, the Chinese PLA will send troops to participate in the ADMM-Plus Exercise Trident Resolve in Indonesia from September 22 to 25, 2026.

The exercise simulates earthquakes and secondary and compound disasters, featuring table-top and field training in rubble search and rescue, multinational field medical treatment, epidemic prevention and disinfection, and emergency communications response.

It aims to enhance multinational coordination in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), improve regional disaster emergency response mechanisms, and jointly uphold regional peace and stability.
