BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Over 320 representatives from 62 countries and international organizations have gathered in Beijing for the three-day Great Wall-2026 International Forum on Counter-Terrorism.

Hosted by the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, this year's forum provides a platform for representatives to share insights and experience on pragmatic cooperation in the fight against terrorism in four seminar sessions.

Topics such as trends of terrorist activities facilitated by unmanned weapons and intelligent technology, and corresponding counter-terrorism capacity building, are on the agenda for discussion.

Visits to military training demonstrations and viewing of unmanned equipment have also been scheduled for the attendees, the organizer of the forum said.

The armed police form an important force for a country in combating terrorism and safeguarding social stability. The Chinese People's Armed Police Force has hosted five editions of this forum since 2016, with the aim of pooling global strengths to erect an impregnable fortress against terrorism.

An important participant in and contributor to the global fight against terrorism, China has conducted pragmatic cooperation with other countries in terms of intelligence exchanges, border control, case investigations and counter-terrorism financing.

The country has also organized training sessions and seminars to share its experience with the international community and help with capacity building in combating terrorism.
