KATMANDU, Sept. 9 -- On September 8, the "Sagarmatha Friendship 2025" joint army training entered its first day of training. Troops from China and Nepal conducted live-fire shooting training at a comprehensive shooting range in Nepal.
Set in a scenario of joint counterterrorism operations, the training involved a variety of light weapons, including pistols, rifles, submachine guns, and sniper rifles. The participating troops carried out shooting training exercises in multiple positions (like kneeling and standing) and maneuvers (such as shooting on the move and engaging targets while turning).
In the coming days, both sides' troops will continue to conduct live-fire shooting training exercises, including special operations marksmanship and Close Quarters Battle(CQB) drills.
