BEIJING, Sept. 11 -- The China-Russia-Mongolia Border Defense Cooperation 2025 joint exercise was successfully concluded on the morning of September 9, 2025.

During the exercise, a demonstration of military dog training was conducted within the territory of Russian side, where robotic dogs worked closely with military dogs, coordinating for precise detection and identification. The exercise comprehensively tested the participating border troops' capabilities in obstacle-crossing, target search, and identification using military dogs.

This joint exercise not only tested the three countries' combined capabilities in responding to emergencies but also served as an important practice for China, Russia, and Mongolia to consolidate their traditional friendship, deepen strategic mutual trust, and strengthen security cooperation.

After the live-force exercise, participating troops from the three sides held cultural exchange activities at their border junction. The performances, including China's traditional lion dance, Russian folk songs played on the accordion, and Mongolian vocal performances, were warmly received by all participants.
