BEIJING, Sept. 17 -- The hospital ship Silk Road Ark (Hull 867) attached to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, recently conducted drills on shipboard helicopter takeoff and landing, maritime first aid for the wounded, and other subjects in the Pacific Ocean, effectively enhancing its medical support capabilities under far-sea conditions.

Since setting sail, the crew members have conducted comprehensive inspections of more than 200 types of medical equipment and more than 20 portable devices, ensuring the stable function of each equipment. They have also sorted more than 400 kinds of medicine into categories of trauma treatment, critical care, and common disease diagnosis and treatment, thereby getting fully prepared for the following tasks.

The hospital ship Silk Road Ark is currently on the voyage approaching Nauru, the first station during its mission.
