BEIJING, Sept. 28 -- On Sept. 25 local time, the Chinese naval hospital ship "Silk Road Ark", which is carrying out the Mission Harmony 2025, concluded its visit to Nauru and set sail for Fiji.   

The visit marks the first time that a Chinese naval ship has visited Nauru. During the seven-day medical service in Nauru, medical personnel of the hospital ship "Silk Road Ark" treated patients both at the shore-based medical zones and aboard the ship, receiving a total of 2,015 outpatients and performing 145 surgeries. 

The hospital ship also conducted joint medical consultations with local medical institutions, and hosted traditional Chinese medicine culture exhibitions and health lectures in local communities and schools.
