CHANGSHA, Oct. 14 -- The first "Elite Soldier" military sports invitational tournament of the Chinese military academies was kicked off at the Chinese PLA National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) on October 12, 2025.

Under the basic scenario of combat squad carrying out combat missions, the participating teams were required to complete six subjects in sequence within the prescribed time, including ruck march, 100-meter swimming in uniform, 400-meter obstacle crossing, practical climbing , grenade throwing, and pistol precision shooting.

Cadets from seven Chinese military academies, including the Army Infantry Academy and the Air Force Engineering University, competed in such contents as physical fitness, teamwork, and battlefield adaptivity.

This event aimed to inspire the morale of military cadets and enhance their physical and mental qualities.
