On October 21, the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce conducted cultural exchange activities during its technical stop in Mombasa, Kenya. 

The taskforce visited the Kenya Naval Training College (KNTC) and the Kenya Navy Hospital (TKNH), alongside friendly basketball matches, further strengthening bilateral ties.

At Port Reitz School for the Handicapped in Mombasa, the Chinese naval sailors performed cultural programs such as Chinese Dance and Martial Arts, which were well-received by teachers and students.
