WAU, South Sudan, Oct. 30 -- On October 28, local time, the medal-awarding ceremony for the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Force to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) was held at the barracks of Chinese peacekeeping engineers within the UNMISS Super Camp of Wau in South Sudan. Over 300 personnel from the Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company and the Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to the UNMISS were awarded the UN Peace Medal of Honor in recognition of their outstanding performance during the peacekeeping mission and their significant contributions to upholding peace in South Sudan.
