BEIJING, Nov. 15 -- Soldiers assigned to an artillery detachment under the Chinese PLA Army participated in a live-fire training exercise with 122 mm vehicle-mounted howitzers in the hinterland of plateau at an altitude of 4,500 meters.
The troops simulated real-combat scenarios under extreme environments, focusing on testing the mobility deployment, fire strike and coordinated combat capability in high-altitude and low-oxygen conditions.
Next, the detachment will carry out specialized training centering on nighttime shooting, extreme-range strike, and other subjects.
