Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to South Sudan (Juba) Passes UN Equipment Inspection

JUBA, Nov. 25 -- The 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) passed the fourth-quarter equipment inspection by the UNMISS on Nov. 24, 2025, local time.

During the ten-hour inspection, eleven equipment inspectors assessed the weapons and ammunition, vehicles and equipment, environmental fire protection, and medical aid of the Chinese peacekeeping contingent.

It is learned that the Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion has undertaken more than 700 authorized tasks in total, travelling a distance exceeding 30,000 kilometers, effectively maintaining the regional security and stability.
