HONG KONG, Jan. 5 -- On January 4, 2026, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison held a mobilization ceremony for the 2026 training year. Then troops from the Army, Navy, and Air Force stationed in Hong Kong commenced the new year's military training to enhance combat capabilities and strengthen their ability to fulfill Hong Kong's defense responsibilities.
