BEIJING, Jan. 9 -- The Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship Silk Road Ark (Hull 867), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, recently conducted a maritime medical rescue drill in a certain area of the Atlantic Ocean.

Set in the context of a merchant ship emergency on the high seas, the drill focused on mass wounded personnel reception, triage, emergency treatment, surgical operations, and other actions through ship-borne helicopter transfer and multi-department cooperation, thereby effectively examining the hospital ship's comprehensive emergency rescue capabilities and medical service support capabilities in the far seas.
