An army firepower element assigned to the Chinese PLA Xinjiang Military Command conducted a day-and-night live-fire exercise in the desert area.

Artillery crews loaded ammunition swiftly upon reaching the target area.

The meteorological (MET) team reported the weather information including wind speed and direction to the command vehicles.

All operational elements worked in close coordination, executing multiple firepower strikes.

The exercise covered such subjects as massive fire raid, precision strikes, long-distance maneuvers, and involved multi-type artilleries including PLZ-07 122mm self-propelled howitzers and PLZ-10 120mm self-propelled mortar howitzers.

It honed the troops' rapid response capabilities and tested the firepower effectiveness.
