Amphibious assault ship Hainan (Hull 31), China's first Type 075 amphibious assault ship, was commissioned to the PLA Navy on April 23, 2021. Five years on, the ship has now greatly enhanced its combat capability, with refined support operation procedure, smooth command chain, improved sorties per-round and per-day and shortened preparation time for sortie generation.
