Type 055 guided-missile destroyer Lhasa (Hull 102), a 10,000 ton-class destroyer attached to the Chinese PLA Navy, recently engaged in a maritime training exercise in the waters of China's Yellow Sea, covering air-defense, anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare (ASW), and other subjects.

The Type 055 guided-missile destroyer is known as the "shield and sword" of Chinese aircraft carrier strike groups. As the second commissioned Type 055 destroyer, destroyer Lhasa features competent information awareness, air and missile defense, and anti-surface warfare capabilities.
