BEIJING, Mar. 17 -- The nationwide transportation of new recruits for the first half of 2026 was commenced on March 16, 2026. New recruits from 18 Chinese provinces and municipalities will depart from more than 400 railway stations, more than 30 civil aviation airports, and multiple ports for their respective military units through railway, aviation, waterway, and other modes. All new recruits are expected to arrive at their units by the end of March.
