BEIJING, April 28 -- The Beibu Gulf Connectivity-2026 cross-regional civil air defense support exercise was recently conducted simultaneously in six cities and counties, including Haikou City, Wenchang City, Qionghai City, and Lingshui County in South China’s Hainan Province.

Nearly 600 personnel from civil air defense departments and related specialized units from 34 cities and counties in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan provinces participated in the exercise.

Focusing on the protection of key facilities such as airports, power plants and bases, the exercise tailored subjects including cross-regional support, command communication networking, and drone applications to continuously enhance the combat readiness of civil air defense operations.
