BEIJING, June 10 -- The Chinese PLA Naval Aviation University organized large-platform airdrop training with Y-8 and Y-9 medium-lift transport aircraft. Despite challenging low-altitude weather conditions and the absence of ground guidance at the drop zone, the flight crews executed precise drops, effectively validating their mission execution capability.

Heavy equipment airdrop is a core capability of transport aircraft units. Precisely delivering multi-ton platforms to a designated location imposes extremely high requirements on flight attitude control, release timing, and crew coordination precision.
