ABYEI, June 17 -- On June 16, local time, an inspection team from the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) conducted the second-quarter equipment inspection on the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to UNISFA.
Following on-site verification, all equipment, materials, and infrastructure of the Chinese contingent were confirmed to fully meet the UN peacekeeping mission standards.
The inspection covered key areas such as barracks and housing facilities, general-purpose vehicles and helicopters, weapons and ammunition management, medical rescue equipment, emergency supplies reserve, and individual combat gear. It focused on evaluating the equipment serviceability, supply availability, routine maintenance, and the unit's capability to sustain missions.
