The amphibious assault ship Hubei (Hull 34) recently headed to the South China Sea to conduct all-element, multi-subject training exercise, aiming to enhance the vessel's capability to carry out combat missions under complex sea conditions.
The training focused on core subjects including ship-borne helicopter takeoff and landing, landing craft air cushion (LCAC) well dock operations, and emergency response to contingencies.
In addition, the Hubei conducted targeted helicopter fire-fighting drills to enhance the vessel's survivability and damage control capabilities.
