DJIBOUTI, Aug. 12 -- The Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship Auspicious Ark, which is carrying out Mission Harmony-2026, began a technical stop at the Chinese PLA Support Base in Djibouti on August 11, 2026.

During the technical stop, the hospital ship will replenish supplies and provide medical services to the personnel of the support base and the 48th Chinese naval escort task force.

Since setting sail on July 22, the hospital ship has conducted training on counter-terrorism, counter-piracy, maritime medical rescue and other subjects, effectively enhancing its emergency response capabilities.
