VIENTIANE, Sept. 11 -- The China-Laos "Peace Train-2026" joint humanitarian medical rescue exercise entered its fifth day. Over the past few days, the Chinese and Lao participating military medics carried out joint training on disaster-site search and rescue and mass casualty care, etc.

Many Lao participants are alumni of China's military medical universities. They were excited to meet and work together with their former teachers and friends in this joint training.

September 10 marked Teachers' Day, and the Lao participants who had studied in China extended festive greetings to their former teachers.

As the sixth exercise of this series, the "Peace Train-2026" joint exercise deepens the friendship between Chinese and Lao medics and enhances the two militaries' capabilities in joint medical-service command, joint rescue, and joint prevention and control.
