VIENTIANE, Sept. 16 -- The China-Laos "Peace Train-2026" medical service activity began at the Lao Military Hospital 103 in Vientiane on the morning of September 15, 2026.

The Chinese medical team provided free medical consultations and health checkups for local military personnel and civilians. It also conducted joint consultations and academic exchanges with the Lao military medical personnel, covering 31 clinical disciplines, including cardiology, orthopedics, emergency medicine, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The medical service activities will run until late September. The Chinese "Peace Train" medical team will provide medical services for local military personnel and civilians in Vientiane, Pakse, Savannakhet, and Attapeu.
