BEIJING, Oct. 27 -- A magnitude 7.0-earthquake struck Baqen county of Nagqu city in Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Oct. 22, 2026. Rescue troops assigned to the Chinese military have promptly evacuated and resettled the affected residents, and are continuing to provide them with food, accommodation, medical care and cold-resistance support.
