
BEIJING, Aug. 20 -- The Chinese team for the “Suvorov Attack” competition of International Army Games (IAG) 2021 is stepping up adaptive training. More than ten participants selected from a brigade of the 82nd Group Army under the PLA Central Theater Command, are under the last-stage intensive training despite the intense heatwaves of Korla, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
In the pre-contest training, the Chinese team members drive the infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) to pass through 12 obstacles such as water wading zones and anti-tank trenches on a closed track of 4.3 km and shoot at targets which will appear randomly in the 2 shooting sections on the way.
