BEIJING, July 8 -- A naval rescue detachment under the PLA Northern Theater Command conducted a rescue training drill of “wrecked” submarine in a sea area off Qingdao, Shandong Province.
Some sea, air and submarine rescue forces participated in the drill, including the PLA's only deep submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV). It docked with a submarine rescue platform under the water to evacuate the crew members.
