BEIJING, July 25 -- Recently, an air defense brigade under the PLA Xinjiang Military Command organized a round-the-clock live-firing drill on the Karakoram Plateau with an elevation of more than 5000 meters.
During the drill with multiple scenarios, a variety of shells was fired and hit incoming targets from different directions. The live-firing drill was designed to make an all-round assessment of the brigade’s anti-aircraft and anti-missile capability under complex environmental conditions.
