BEIJING, July 20 (ChinaMil) -- The last batch of participants from the Chinese PLA Army, together with their equipment, has arrived at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow at about 14:00 on July 19 Beijing time for the International Army Games (IAG) 2018. So far, all personnel and equipment of the PLA army to participate in the IAG 2018 have arrived in Russia.
It is reported that the Chinese PLA Army will participate in 14 games such as Open Water, Engineering Formula, Masters of Armored Vehicles, True Friend and Maintenance Battalion and so on. More than 400 Chinese participants have left for Moscow and Novosibirsk from Beijing and Urumqi on July 18 and July 19 respectively.
According to Li Bin, leader of the Chinese PLA Army's participating teams, their equipment and materials were mainly sent to Russia from China by rail and have arrived at the designated places in Russia at about 9: 00 on July 19 Beijing time.
According to a report from the frontline journalists, the PLA Army's participating teams were warmly welcomed by the Russian side after their arrival, and they are now on their way to various games locations.
