BEIJING, Mar. 24 -- On the morning of March 19, Xinqiao Hospital of the Chinese PLA Army Medical University completed its first medicine delivery task by drone, signifying that it has opened up a normalized first-aid medicine delivery channel by drone.
北京3月24日 3月19日上午，陆军军医大学新桥医院完成首次无人机药品配送任务，开辟了常态化无人机急救药品配送通道。
It is learned that a drone can carry a maximum of nine kilograms of materials per flight, and complete a delivery with nearly half the time required by a conventional logistics delivery. This enables the uninterrupted fast supply of special medicine round the clock, thereby buying valuable time for saving lives.
据悉，无人机配送单架次飞行可以最大承载9公斤物资，比常规物流配送速度提高近一倍，能够实现特殊药品24小时不间断快速供应，为抢救生命争取宝贵时间。
