BEIJING, Mar. 26 -- The Thai naval taskforce participating in the China-Thailand Blue Strike-2025 joint naval training arrived at a military port in Zhanjiang City in south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday morning.
The Chinese side held a welcoming ceremony at the dock. The two sides jointly stressed in their speeches that the joint naval training is a vital practice to implement the consensus between the two countries on strengthening cooperation, and will focus on testing the two navies' capabilities of carrying out joint defensive operations.

The China-Thailand Blue Strike-2025 joint naval training, as the sixth edition of this series, will take place in air spaces and sea areas near Zhanjiang City from late March to early April. The Thai side dispatched the landing platform dock ship Angthong (LPD-791), guided-missile frigates Kraburi (FFG-457) and Chao Phraya (FFG-455), and offshore patrol vessel Prachuap Khiri Khan (OPV-552) to take part in the joint training. The Chinese side formed a naval taskforce consisting of the guided-missile destroyer Kunming (Hull 172), the amphibious dock landing ship Qilianshan (Hull 985), guided-missile frigates Xuchang (Hull 536) and Tianmen (Hull 631), and the comprehensive submarine rescue ship Xiangyanghu (Hull 832), as well as shipborne helicopters and Marines Corps members.
中泰“蓝色突击—2025”海军联合训练将于3月下旬至4月上旬位湛江海空域举行，这是两国海军第6次举行该系列联训。此次泰方参训兵力包括“红统号”登陆舰，“克拉巴厘”号、“昭披耶”号护卫舰，以及“巴蜀府”号巡逻舰。中方参训兵力包括导弹驱逐舰昆明舰，登陆舰祁连山舰，导弹护卫舰许昌舰、天门舰，综合援潜救生船向阳湖船以及舰载直升机和海军陆战队队员。
