BEIJING, Aug.4 -- Recently, the People's Armed Forces Department in Shanxian County, east China's Shandong Province organized a chemical prevention and rescue drill for its militia detachment. During the drill, the militia force, mainly composed of specialized technical individuals of a local chemical enterprise, arrived at the rescue site at short notice and quickly completed the detection of noxious gas and searching for the source of leakage. They immediately applied disposal measures jointly with firefighters and other specialized rescue forces afterwards.
