BEIJING, Apr. 19 -- At the invitation of the Border Guard Service of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), the China Coast Guard (CCG) sent a working group to Vladivostok to participate in China-Russia Coast Guard working-level talks from April 16 to 18.
This is the first working-level talks between the two agencies after signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last year.
The two sides conducted research and consultation on the exchange and cooperation activities planned for this year, carried out operational seminars, tabletop exercises, sea surveys and other activities, and reached a broad consensus on strengthening practical cooperation. The two sides agreed to work together to make new and positive contributions to maintaining regional security and stability.
