QINGDAO, Apr. 28 -- China Coast Guard (CCG) Beihai Branch recently held the first working-level meeting with the Korea Coast Guard (KCG) Region-Central in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province.
At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation and exchanges in maritime law enforcement since the opening of the sea area-level liaison channel and exchanged views on strengthening future cooperation in such fields as joint combat against transnational crimes at sea, information sharing, and jointly handling maritime emergencies. Both parties agreed to further deepen practical cooperation and jointly maintain regional maritime security, stability, and order.
