PHNOM PENH, May 22 -- Chinese and Cambodian participating troops in the China-Cambodia "Golden Dragon 2024" joint exercise conducted live-fire shooting drill with light weapons on May 19, local time. Both sides exchanged weapons and shared the shooting experience together.
At a training base of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), the Chinese participants thoroughly introduced the performance and usage of various Chinese light weapons to their Cambodian counterparts.
After mastering the operating procedures and live-fire shooting process, the Cambodian participating soldiers used Chinese weapons to conduct the first round of live-fire training.
It is learned that participating troops of the two sides will carry out joint training on the exercise subjects and operation tasks with mixed groups, so as to lay a solid foundation for better completion of this joint exercise.
