Chinese Naval Taskforce to Participate in AMAN-25 in Pakistan

BEIJING, Feb. 6 -- According to a message released by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense on Thursday, at the invitation of the Pakistani military, a Chinese naval taskforce, composed of guided-missile destroyer Baotou (Hull 133) and comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu (Hull 904), will participate in the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-2025, which is to be held in middle February in Karachi, Pakistan.

The exercise will involve subjects such as replenishment at sea, joint anti-piracy, search and rescue, and air defense, aiming to enhance the participating navies' ability of jointly maintaining maritime security.
