BEIJING, Feb.9 -- The naval and air forces assigned to the Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command (STC) conducted a routine patrol in waters of South China Sea on Friday, said a statement released by the PLA STC, adding that all the troops of the theater command remain on high alert at all times to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty, security and maritime rights and interests.
