BEIJING, Aug.25 -- Organized by the Military Provisions Supply Office of China's National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, and the Military Supplies and Energy Bureau of the Logistic Support Department under China's Central Military Commission, a military-wide campaign on the theme of "Science and Technology for Military Provisions" was launched recently, as an important measure to expand the main channels of military provisions supply, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the military provisions support system, and improve the emergency response capability of military provisions units at all levels.
北京8月25日电 近日，在国家粮食和物资储备局军粮供应办公室、中央军委后勤保障部军需能源局的组织下，“粮油科技进军营”活动在全军范围内展开。这一活动是以部队需求为牵引，拓宽军粮供应主渠道，加快推进军粮供应保障体系转型升级，提高各级军粮系统综合保障能力和应急应战水平的重要举措。
During the event, experts will be invited to provide training on food cooking, storage and protection technology. And the military provisions units at all levels will also conduct research to expand the range of service, gradually realizing differentiated supply of military provisions based on different geographical environments, service branches, and missions.
活动期间，各级军粮系统将邀请粮油专家，对部队后勤炊事人员进行烹饪技术和储粮保粮技术培训，为部队提供科学储粮等精细化服务，提高部队后勤炊事人员保障水平。以活动为契机，各级军粮系统还将加强调研，进一步拓展军粮供应保障范围，延伸服务领域，逐步实现针对不同地域环境、不同军兵种、不同任务的差异化军粮品种供应。
