BEIJING, Nov. 9 -- After a strong earthquake struck western Nepal and caused a large number of people and property losses, two Y-20 large transport aircraft attached to the Chinese PLA Air Force were dispatched to transport emergency humanitarian relief supplies to Nepal on the morning of November 8. The Y-20s took off from the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 8 am on Wednesday, with a total of 50 tons of urgently needed cotton tents, blankets and other humanitarian relief supplies for earthquake rescue and disaster relief, which were donated by the Chinese government.
北京，11月9日 -- 当地时间11月3日23时47分，尼泊尔西部地区发生强烈地震，造成大量人员和财产损失。11月8日清晨，空军航空兵某部紧急出动2架运-20运输机，从成都双流机场起飞向尼泊尔运送共约50吨急需的棉帐篷、毛毯等救援物资，以帮助尼泊尔开展抗震救灾工作。

It is learnt that the Y-20 transport planes had flown to Afghanistan to transport disaster-relief supplies in October this year.
据悉，今年10月，运-20曾飞赴阿富汗执行运送救援物资任务。
