The opening ceremony of the "Sayan Range March" snowfield combat and march competition of the International Army Games (IAG) 2024 was held in the Western Sayan Range region, Russia on April 6. Nine participating teams from seven countries and regions, including China, Russia and Iran, attended the opening ceremony.
4月6日，“国际军事比赛-2024”“萨彦岭行军”雪地作战行军比赛开幕式在俄罗斯西萨彦岭地区举行。来自中国、俄罗斯和伊朗等7个国家和地区的9支参赛队参加了开幕式。
The competition officially started at 10 am on April 7 as scheduled. On the first competition day, the participants competed in six items, such as avalanche search and rescue, casualty delivery and group firing.
按照赛事安排，比赛于4月7日10点正式开始，第一个比赛日将进行雪崩搜救、伤员上送、班组射击等6个课目的比拼。
The "Sayan Range March" snowfield combat and march competition has been part of the IAG since 2019. The Chinese Army had dispatched teams twice to participate in the competition previously, ranking second by the total score both times. For this year's event, the Chinese Army dispatched female soldiers to participate in the competition for the first time.
“萨彦岭行军”雪地作战行军比赛是国际军事比赛在2019年新增的项目，中国陆军曾两次派出参赛队参赛，均获得总评第二名的成绩。今年是中国陆军第3次派出参赛队参加这项比赛，与前两不同的是，此次中国陆军首次增派女兵参赛队参赛。
