SAINSHAND, Mongolia, May 21 -- On the afternoon of May 19, local time, the closing ceremony of the China-Mongolia "Steppe Partner-2024" joint army training was held at a training ground in Dornogovi Province of Mongolia.
赛音山达5月21日电 当地时间19日下午，中蒙“草原伙伴-2024”陆军联合训练在蒙古国东戈壁省某训练场举行闭幕式。
The closing ceremony started at around 1:00 p.m., local time. After aflag-raising ceremony, relevant leaders of both sides and guests delivered brief speeches and announced the official conclusion of the execution stage of the joint training.
当天13时许，闭幕式正式开始。中蒙双方举行升旗仪式，双方领导和出席嘉宾分别进行了简短的致辞，并宣布联合训练实施阶段正式结束。
Prior to the closing ceremony, a field exercise was held and the Chinese and Mongolian commanding officers inspected the participating troops. A party was held following the closing ceremony.
闭幕式前，中蒙参训力量举行了实兵演练，中蒙双方指挥员检阅了参训分队。闭幕式后，中蒙双方共同组织了联欢会。
This is the first joint training between the armies of the two countries, with a focus on how to deal with the activities of illegal armed groups. The training aims to further deepen the strategic mutual trust and pragmatic cooperation between the two militaries and inject positive energy into regional peace and stability.
此次联合训练是两国陆军首次联合训练，以应对非法武装团体活动为课题，旨在进一步深化中蒙两军战略互信与务实合作，为地区和平稳定注入正能量。
