BEIJING, June 11 -- Recently, the 10th Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion to South Sudan (Juba) held a defense drill. The drill, which was held under the scenario of the UN camp being assaulted by a large number of unidentified people, aimed to enhance the troops' capabilities of maintaining stability according to law.

"Service members undertaking international peacekeeping missions are confronted with real combat. We must stay on high alert at all times and put targeted precautions in place to ensure effective response to any possible contingencies and fulfillment of our peacekeeping missions," said a Chinese peacekeeper.
