BEIJING, June 17 -- The 22nd Chinese Peacekeeping Construction Engineering Company to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) completed the emergency tasks of constructing ten gabion walls for the Italian helicopter component deployed with UNIFIL on June 14, local time.

The barrack facilities of the Italian helicopter unit, located within two kilometers of the "Blue Line" boundary, suffered major security risks due to the damage caused by frequent air attacks and bombardments in the Lebanon-Israel border area. Since being assigned the tasks, the Chinese Peacekeeping Construction Engineering Company to UNIFIL has dispatched more than 700 person times and completed the construction tasks 20 days ahead of schedule.
因黎以边境地区空袭、炮击事件频发，距离“蓝线”不足两公里的联黎部队意大利直升机分队营房设施遭到不同程度损坏，存在重大安全隐患，我赴黎维和建筑工兵分队在受领任务后出动兵力700余人次，较规定时间提前20天完成施工任务。
