BEIJING, Nov. 27 -- A Y-20 transport aircraft of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) departed from an airport in central China on Tuesday for the Republic of Korea (ROK) to bring back the 11th batch of Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs' remains from the ROK. The ROK side will hand over the remains and belongings of 43 CPV martyrs to China on Thursday.

北京11月27日电  11月26日,中国人民解放军空军一架运20军用大型运输机从华中某机场起飞,赴韩执行接运第11批在韩国志愿军烈士遗骸回国任务。韩方将于11月28日向中方移交43位在韩中国人民志愿军烈士遗骸及相关遗物。

Since 2015, the PLAAF has dispatched planes to the ROK every year to undertake the mission of bringing back CPV martyrs' remains from the ROK. Since 2020, the task has been performed by the Y-20 transport aircraft of the PLAAF. Airmen performing this year's mission have carefully arranged the cabin of the plane to ensure that the highest standards were met to welcome the remains of the martyrs back home.

2015年以来,空军每年都派出飞机赴韩执行志愿军烈士遗骸接运任务。自2020年起,空军开始派出运20执行此项任务。执行此次任务的官兵对机舱内部进行精心布置,确保以最高标准迎接烈士遗骸回国。
